i started this topic since no one realli responded to the death note thread but i'll start first i think the sadest anime is hanayori dango its kind...

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 was really sad at the end. I think it was saddest anime which I watched.

yeah i meant that and i's did have sad moments but the whole thing was more comedy romance. for manga i have only read DNA2 , I"s , and GTO, and part of love hina ohh and video girl.

bokura ga ita... i´ve never seen something more sad than the end of BGI... T_T
and elfen lied, too... Ouran, Sukiyo, Gravitation, and many more i guess, i cried at almost every anime i´ve seen :-D

heh, I guess it depends on anime and how the plot develops... usually the action accumulates at the end and that's when people cry..

but I cried a bit for example in the middle of Clannad, when people were no longer able to see Fuuko.. so I guess it happens :)

Looks like a lot of others cried at Chrno Crusade, Saikano, etc, too. I didn't see Full Moon wo Sagashite mentioned, though, so perhaps I'm alone on that one. =)
