Aaanyways..

I was wondering how you get sorta a white fad-ish thing in a backgroud..
Something similar to this-

If I just had a solid color background...

well I could think of two things:

if you have a background layer filled with blue, and the second layer using white brushes (any non-abstract brushes btw, since the background image you posted down looks like a cloudy bg) but don't use it too much

background layer filled with blue color, second layer you can go to Filter, then go all the way till you see Render, and then Clouds. Click on Clouds and it'll show you a cloud image (default is white and black). If you don't like a certain cloud image you can always press ctrl+F to show a different cloud image. On that same layer, set your blending mode to Lighten or Screen. That will give you the background you're looking for :-D

My first thought was with brushes as well.
Other one is too much work XD

Because it usually doesnt give the exact result you'd like, so you have to keep screwing around with it.
I prefer brushes overall :P

I want to make an animated GIF out of it. So I googled many things as I found a reason. I used 3gp converter, to convert into AVI. But, the filesize got up to 5MB. I opened it in Virtualdub and exported as a GIF. Size was about 4,5MB. I want it as an Avatar, so I tried to resize it to fit the parameters. I used Adobe Imageready for that. I didn' do anything, just resize. After saving it as Optimized, it turned out like this(see attachement, I hope it will work)

Can anyone tell me. where could be the problem?

I have to convert uncompressed, or else, I won't be able to make a *.gif out of it. And I dropped some frames, the thing is, that after I do anything with the pic in Adobe Imageready, it changes into that grey thing, but size gets down too(361KB now, I think.)

Uhh... I don't have any account on such servers... I upload things directly from HDD... But If V or Rjd change the UL limits, I might UL it.

Now I found out, that Image ready lets me use only 601 layers(or frames)... Can I somehow bypass it?

I've never tried making something with that many frames.. even if you can add more frames, you'd never be able to save it in a filesize that can be used as an avatar in any forum.. o_O

After saving 601 layers(3/4 of video) the size was only 351KB So, I think I can be able to edit it to fit. But I need a way to bypass 601 restriction -.-

errm.. haven't had time to work on your imageready problem yet.. but if you find a solution before I do, please share it here.. I'm sure others would like to know.. O_O

OK. Problem solved.
The file I converted with some-fucking-shitty-good-looking-great review having 3gp converter was corrupted. Yes the converter screwed the file. I can't remember the name to warn you others, sorry.

So, I make it like this, I used my KMPlayer to convert it(damn hard work to find proper coding that my gif animator could handle) into .avi. After that I ran it trough GIFanimator(great easy tool). And voila... Animated Gif. But it didn't allow me to make the file smaller, so I used Image ready to decrease the dimensions and voila again. It's there. But it still has 1,4MB, 8065resolution with 699 frames -.-

Now I'm lookng for a way to decrease the size more.
