This may be the approach of the Avatar creators. I feel there are some strands of plot that were not resolved but alas they were cut.

so, i was and are currently sitting in the airport waiting for my plane (at 12:30 in the morning :( )
anyway, i decided to do something productive like watch the end of avatar. i must say that i truly enjoyed the series. if you have not seen the entire thing, (american anime :P) you go out and see it. it may not seem like it, but there are tons of great scenes and amazing plot and character development. Yeah... im gonna run out of bandwidth traffic if i keep goin on (runnin on wireless card) so ill catch you guys when i get back and i expect to see this thread filled with conversation goodies... lol

Avatar The Last Airbender is one of my all time favs..even if it only considered a semi-anime... made here in the u.s. and animated in Korea. I own books 1, water and book 3, fire... have to wait until next tax return for it :rose: I love the animated series, but muhahahamuhahahamuhahahamuhahaha
Shamalan trashed it in his attempt at a movie ...grrrrrrrrrrr... My fav characters are Ang and Soka... god, Soka's comedy relief is hysterical!!!

I agree with the wolf ^^^^ he he, the rewatch value on it is priceless!!!

aaaaaaahhhhhh another Original Frank Herbert' Dune lover...indeedXD I read the whole series long ago and even attempted some of the new books put together from his notes by his son and another author but.. the original Dune was indeed the best and remains so. Frank Herbert was an over seas journalist in the middle east prior to writing the book and the analogy of control of the spice to oil is unmistakable.
