My computer is a bit outdated, was thinking about building one when I save up enough money to get the parts. At the moment this is what I'm pretty much leaning towards but anything is liable to change.

If you get that OCZ ram with a a rebate, DO NOT take no for an answer.

New egg drags their ass to get you the UPC, but fill out the form and make sure you follow the instructions to the letter.

If that fails, try going to the support forums on the OCZ website, they usually work with you.

It was a pain in the ass dealing with OCZ, but I got the Reaper RAM and I like it.

It's a warning. If he gets the OCZ RAM, and there's a rebate involved, he may go through some drama like I did.

In summary getting the rebate was a pain in the ass for me, but the RAM I got from OCZ is pretty good. I haven't had any problems editing video or running games yet.

So to simplify even further. RAM good, rebate process bad.

Oh the dichotomy of buying discount computer parts online.

I was going to get that one, but I didn't need the built in wireless NIC.

Hmm, instead of that CPU, I will recommend this CPU which is cheaper and similar in results(if not better)
And because of that, zou will need to change the mainboard. This one looks good and is also cheaper.
Oh... And I have to agree with SZ about RAM... The more the better. but If you will use 32bit system, it can't handle more than 3,5GB....

Not a bad system at all, however I would say that the deal on this memory is a lot better than the one in your wish list. :)

Notice that some of the stuff is out of stock. Newegg has such good deals that things go out of stock all the time. I have to replace parts regularly, haha. Its not hard to find replacements though.

Yes, I just realized why it wasnt working. Try it now. And I wasnt really asking for your help, lmao. :) However, if you got better (and cheaper) ideas for my system, please do share.
