Imm back :) and this time i know how to un-ruin the shading :) thanks to a tutorial on deviant art

rough sketch to show snoo-chan how my unfinished pics look - no unruining the shading etc., inking etc. (don't mind the gray markings. It was water color, but the scanner changed it to black and white )

yea, i just leave the guides and don't erase the parts behind stuff until i ink so i don't mess up lines TOO much :P

and i don't care about the watercolor. It was just a bunch of yellow markings, nothing that needs to be in color.

and starshine, im still working on that naruhina pic :P i erased too much and lost my smudging thingy :P so it's coming along pretty slow...

yea, i forgot what rena's school uniform looked like....i also think i'll start using more shades...right now im only using about two or three -.- to shade stuff...maybe i'll redo them and post them later :)

...not too happy with the skin on this one...but other than that, it's pretty good. colorizing shades of gray was very fun here :) i also fiddled with moving things around and whatnot. :) [spoiler][/spoiler]

:) ah, yea, that was cause i used the smudge tool to do the hair...kk, so less sumdgey :) speaking of which, anybody know a good tool for blending colors? besides the blur tool?

lol, yea, i had a lot of fun making the eyeball XD shading around the upper lid and towards the edges to make it look round :) since it's just anime u don't need a lot :) just enough :)

i tried to do one with actual line art, but i just spent the past four hours trying to make lineart with a tracpad, it it was horrible. so im sticking to my put the color on without lines stratagey.

kk! here's what three hours, 11 layers, deviantart and michiko makes :) i think it's pretty good, even though i totally screwed up the lighting. i didn't want to go back and add more shadows. :P maybe i will later:) i was wondering what to make all fuzzy and glow-y and settled for balls of light, but now i kinda wish i'd done rose or sakura petals 'cause of the background :P

i makeded a new avvy for meself, though it's so shrunken now that you can't tell what it is....and the second is my poor first attempt at wallpaper. tips would be helpful, cause im not used to all this rendering and adding in fancy effects. btw, anybody know some cool effects with font? in both of my pics the font is so plain........

im still practicing my rendering and came up with two more...

it got better on this one :) and it's now my new sig (or soon to be, depending on when u read this XD) i think that this is my first rendering sucsess.....i finally gave in to the dots and used the pathfinder/pen thing.....[spoiler][/spoiler]
course it needs to be resized and everything XD
tips, critisizm etc welcome, since im still learning....

does anybody think this is getting too digital? if so i'll try to get some other pics up...

lolz, okay :) it is kinda bright, huh?

teh hatchy stuff on my sig was made by copying and painting a diagonal line...um the other hatchy stuff in the bacground (doesn't go over the reder) was a filter i found and then i fooled with teh settings and stuff

anybody know any good mediums besides pencil that are quick and easy and clean? paints are good, but they take so long, and so much effort and clean-up.

speaking of which, anybody know any good colored pencil tutorials?

also, somebody make a request...im running out of things to draw.... and don't request ur portrait. i've had enough of those for now.

and i know what u mean.. it always pisses me off when i see people who draw better than me and are younger, which, thankfully doesn't happen very often XD, but also can't stop looking at their pictures XD

[spoiler] read from left to right...i don't own the characters, blah blah blah... oh, yea. it should be noted that the two twins are speaking a different language than the other people, (which is why there're scribbles instead of actual words) therefore they cannot understand each other. basically the black-haired twin is saying stuff the light haired one doesn't want her (i think) to say, and so she's pannicing, but the others can't understand them anyways. it should also be noted that if u know the manga they come from, it's a little bit easier to understand where this is comming from.[/spoiler]

ps, is a wacom tablet good?

yea, but it's the only thing i want for my birthday, so im just concerned about good tablets....i mean, i don't want something that's too much, but a medium wacom intuos 4 or 3 is a possible gift.... if is split the price between the two of them, it's about $150, which isn't bad. it's like the amount we spend on groceries... (my mom and dad are divorced)

besides, if it's my only gift, i want it to be the best...right? :worried:
