Anime to avoid at all costs

I need a warning as to what anime to avoid alltogether. So I'm wondering if anyone created a haz-mat thread. I'll simply warn you all to stay away from Apo...

I think rj22 is right, it doesn't matter if there is any 18+ or whatever on it. It just shouldn't be hentai.
At least not for me. When the thing is 18+, I think it possibly could be more exciting and the story could also be more complex.
I mean look at this "mon" stuff it certainly is 0+ or even (-18)+ and it's just dumb.
I don't see any problem when it contains blood and sex, it just shouldn't be to extreme like Gantz or whatever.
That makes the whole thing become dumb again.

Though the manga was/is waaaaaaaaaaaay better. (the manga is still ongoing) In my opinion the really story in Gantz started after the part the anime ended.

Yeah, I guess the anime was made for the sex and blood...
The story is given in the manga, which as I said really starts after the part the anime ends.

The anime could even be good without the main character.... :)
Naruto is the reason why I don't like the anime named after him...., but besides they're shinobi and not politicians...
I mean they're talking too damn much (not in the manga)...and I've seen children in the subway who played with naruto knives O.O....
I want to see shinobi like in Basilisk, because shinobi are/were something like warriors who are/were trained to kill, not to talk....
And Basilisk's are not little kids ;)
When you know more shinobi stuff like Basilisk plz let me know...

Yeah, I hated naruto himself at first as well. However, after the time skip he became a lot more mature and smarter. I've kind of grown to like him (or he grew and I started to like him...) [in a non-sexual way that is]. Anyway...I like Naruto because of its story, it's very interesting in my opinion.
Sorry, don't know any other anime like Basilisk, haven't even seen it.

There's hardly any WWII themed anime is there? I saw one hentai and that was about it.

The Grave of the Fireflies takes place during WWII, though it focuses on the personal experience/journey of two kids than the war itself.

This anime will make you cry for sure! (In case you haven't seen it.)

I saw "grave of the fireflies" yesterday and it was the worst anime I've ever seen in my life :hanabi:

Actually ..fireflies was really sad. I don't cry from watching movies/series, but let's say I didn't laugh either...
It deals with a real matter and I like anime, which does so.

What I want to say is that even if some people where crying, cause of an anime it doesn't have to mean that it's a sad one.

haha, that made me laugh. I think they misunderstood the thread title.
Anyway, I think Grave of the Fireflies was very sad, but another that comes to mind is Fullmetal Alchemist, which wasn't sad all the time, but just some episodes.
