Looking for a new game to play

I'm looking for a game to play
I was a huge fan of World of Warcraft before the WotLK series
So I'd love something similar to that.
I played Loki but it wasn't that good.
Biggest problem was the lack of different starters.
There were only 4 (with each 3 different talent trees, same as WoW)
So I'd like to have a nice variety of starting races/classes
Nice graphics are a plus. Easy controlling is a must.
I had games that were a total nuisance to control because the camera didn't follow etc etc.
That's basicly what I'm looking for, so I hope you get me some nice suggestions

If you like action/shooter genre

Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 1 and/or 2, Fallout 3, Borderlands. (No call of duty or Battlefield, mainly cuz theres gonna be bc3 and blackops)

If you like RPG/Adventure games then

Dragon Age Origins, Torch Light, The Witcher or Starcraft 2 (Main Campaign somewhat have rpg elements)

If you like Fighting games

Street Fighter 4 or Blazblue (Calamity Trigger or Continuum Shift)

If you like mmo

try Kabod Online (Yea its an Adult MMO which means you'll see naked monsters and your armors breaks until you see your character almost naked), Cabal Online or Soul of the Ultimate Nation <---- ALL These are FREE TO PLAY

Demon Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, FF13

Shooter/Adventure

Uncharted 1 and 2, Devil May Cry 4, Bayonetta, Killzone 2, MSG4, GTA4, and Red Read Redemption

same as my pc suggestion which addtion of tekken 6 and soul caliber 4

i agree with kamikazee - torchlight is FANTASTIC and about $20, plus my son enjoys dragon age origins alot!!

checked out a youtube vid from the company and it looks very nice - resembled Chrono Trigger IMO. are the other Disgaea games PS2?

i don't know if the dungeon seige series would be good 4 u - read some reviews and see what you think - it's a bit dated but still really good!

there's 1 + 2 with additions to each one [=4] and is got a TON of user made mods!!

Ok for pc Elder scrolls 4: Oblivion is the best way to go IMO. Especially if you use mods. That game eats your life. I've got over 350 hrs so far.
As for ps2 here's the rundown.
1.Okami: one of the best games on the ps2 period
2.Final fantasy X: My favorite of the series
3.Shadow of the Colossus: My personal favorite game on the ps2
of course if you've already played these there's always the Shin megami tensei games, and Disgaea.

Disgaea is very different to Chron Trigger. It most closely resembles Final Fantasy Tactics. You can get Disgaea 1 and 2 for PS2. Disgaea 2 is probably the best game imo.

Ah no MMOs ok well I'm more of a classics man so I can recommend some good classics.

Neverwinter Nights is always a good one. If you get the Diamond Edition you get a tonne of addons that give it near endless replayability.

The Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Games are really awesome too. It's worth checking online to find some player made expansions, they can easily add up to 20 hours+ gameplay to the games.

Risen is pretty good if you like a bit of classic storyline adventuring.

One of my personal favs if you'd like a change and a bit of fps would be Deus Ex. There is a total conversion mod online called The Nameless Mod. It is probably the best crafted piece of fanware I have ever seen to a game. Not to mention it's hilarious to play. I highly recommend giving it a try :)

No on the mods, I don't have a good enough comp to play games on, so I stick with the PS3. I could upload mods on that, but my net isn't good enough. The other day I went to do an update (the first ever) and it crashed at 30% I then assummed my PS3 was dead and was relieved when it didn't seem to be affected, so the internet is going no where near it now.
