hmmm.... ok, here's a couple of the first games I played, because I can't fully recall which one was the absolute first....
probably the first console game besides pinball was PONG...the first one I owned. Yup, JUST PONG! 16 games, 4 versions of 4, a tiny box, and 2 paddle controllers.
First computer game was probably Castleshot on the TRS-80 made by RatShack....
first DOS game was either Pac-Man or Donkey Kong, the ORIGINAL Castle Wolfenstein, Wizard,or Wizardry on the Apple (pre MAC days!)
first hand-held or portable electronic games were Space Invaders and an electronic chess game.
first arcade games I played were probably Asteroids, Pacman, and Tempest (which is still one of my favorites), and Centipede I think....might have been that other one though, the one like Space Invaders, but they fly around at you too....can't remember the name. Oh yeah, I played Joust a couple times too.....and Donkey Kong....
first PC games were also DOS.... Phantasy, Phantasy-Wrath of Nikedemus, Battle Chess, Ultima....and Leisure-suit Larry in The Land of the Lounge-Lizards. :D
