Oh my. some one else who likes books, and a foxy lady as well, i need to celebrate this.
My fave author is Michael Pryor, followed by an unpublished and crap writer called me (that's me). Have you ever read Thomas Wharton's Perilous Realms book, it's quite good. He was smart and invented a world where all the books written here are truths over there kinda. But he's lazy and has wrote one book in three years, bastard.
I also like Henry H. Neff, oh and general discussion, meri has a subject you should check out.
Christopher Paulini is pretty cool but he's a twat for being better then me, like most authors, bastards. Do you like Sir Arthur Conan doyle?

Oh and please tell me as a self respecting human, you don't like Twilight and believe that the movies and books are a concentrated effort to make Vampires and werewolves gay and like to sit in cafes reciting poetry. We know Kate Beckinsale is the best and that's that. Vampires should be brutal and love to rip necks open in sexual fashion. and werewolves like to tear the clothes off their teenage hot chick victims before eating them.

I've been reading Michael Pryor's series Laws of Magic- Moment of truth. It is steampunk which I love and in the few days I've had it I've reread it three times.
Also reading Bone-Tall Tales by Jeff Smith and Tom Sniegoski.
Oh and some Sherlock Holmes stuff.

Just been rereading my deadpool comics (american). I only ever buy them in collections, kinda like manga, they contain several chapters or issues. I am only into the new stuff (the last five years or so), The good thing about that is that a new guy took over who is mentally disturbed (not really), so the story lines are funny and engaging.

I've only got the new story arc of Deadpool in American comics, tho that does have a ghostrider crossover, in the Team up series.
I'm adding to my collection of manga, by ordering all the One piece, Naruto and Bleach I can find in stock, it seems there is a supply problem as most are out of stock.

Have also just got Derek Landy's Skulduggery Pleasant 5: Mortal Coil, which was funny as, but sad in some places.

Oh and wolfenspiel if you like pulp, Tom Sniegoski has written two awesome Darkhorse novels, One is Hellboy: The God machine and the other Lobster Johnson: The Satan Factory. Both the books are true to the comics origins, I think.

@solarburn-Yeah I was saddened when RJ passed away, but these things happen.
Have you read the book published after his death co written by Brandon Sanderson, I was going to buy it, but once I learned that my two favourite characters (Matt and Perrin) were hardly in it, I learned to hate sanderson.
The last book is now going to be three, so that is just great, for three books will have an idiot wrecking my favourite series ever,
I think I am just going to keep on re-reading my 11 Wheel of time books and figure out the plots from there.

P.S. if anyone can bring the dead back to life, please bring back RJ, but not Tolkien, he's too boring too do that. If it requires sacrifice, I have one in mind, cough sanderson. cough.

Oh yeah I am waiting for A hundred words for Hate by Tom Sniegoski, in his Remy Chandler series, where an angel who shunned God is going about kicking some demon arse.

Fav. Books so far?...Othello, Anything about Hannibal Lector, The Vampire series by Ann Rice, Shogun, The Hot Zone, Her Majesty's Dragon series (and the new book is out, YEA!!), The Eragon series (still waiting for that one to come out:happy:, L.O.T.R., and some moar!!! XD

Also, I Forgot to mention Tanith Lee...an amazing inventive original fantasy writer but sadly, many of her books are no long in print:( but her Tales from the Flat Earth series is amazing and thankyou quirk for the referral;)

1) Well,not realy... I try,but not always have the time.
2) Fantasy,science fiction mainly. :)
3) My dad left me collection of ₁₁₀ books,wich are mostly science fiction and I kinda challenged myself to read all of them :am: I hate books that the school gives us to read. I realy hate that old crap... Theres like 1 out of 10 books that is any good.
4) "Stainless Steel Rat" and "Stainless Steel Rat's Revenge" by Harry Harrison.
5) Now I'm reading "IMMORTALITY, INC." by Robert Sheckley. It's 19th out of the bunch. A bit booring so far,hope it gets better. What am I saying,they usually do... :D
