About the big bugs, as long as they don't include spiders I'm in :P
Some other forrest creatures that come to mind:
black jaguars, snakes, ...

BTW: the crabs are found on the beach :D
and unless you train them, they don't really have any special ability other than being cute ^^

If you really want to be a good wizard you should be a druid or something like that.
Not with real powers but with strong bonds with nature :)

The basic idea was that only the baddies had magic.
For Yuri it's been solved if she accepts it

If it's something close to nature such as wood magic (like in fairy tail) it would make more sense.

So much has changed since that day. No matter how I think about it, it must have been destined to happen. I was gathering some medicinal plants in the Northern Forest, as usual, when I first met him. The man in the black armour. I couldn't help but be intrigued by his appearance. It got me thinking about leaving the forest and see for myself how things are going in the outside world. So far, I'd only heared rumors about some nutcases from the floating rocks. But this one seemed different. He was without a doubt one of the floating rocks. But what was he doing here? Were they planning an invasion? I won't be enough to protect this forest. If I join our main troops I may have a chance to save the forest...

They are only connected by magical chains :)
We won't be needing an elevator since there are flying creatures.

As for the forest, it has to have a lot of different trees and plants, especially the northern one.

As for my character...
I already have a role and a background story
Now to work out my character a bit further.

Meri has no brothers or sisters, nor does she know her real parents.
She lived on the forests edge near the beach as far as she can remember.
She spends her time gathering herbs and learning about life and lifeforms in the forest and the ocean.
The only company she has is a purple crab she found at the moment it hatched from it's egg. She called him Shells.
Shells is a great help since he can climb trees and cut branches.
But when he detects movement he panics and hides.
If you need religion, Meri believes in the power of mother nature and the power of the elements.
Meri is kind and caring, and always helps others in need.
But she never really succeeds at trusting others.
With the knowledge she gained from Mother Nature she can cure a lot of illnesses.
She doesn't have much fighting power since she never needed it,
but she does own a samourai sword that drifted ashore a while ago.

I think it will be more tag team written as the goodies and baddies...
But ofcourse everyone can give some input, and eventually everything will be put together to one main version.

However, this story was Hina's idea, so she might have something else in mind :P

So if I understand it's more of an individual writing?
I'm sure not everyone of us is as gifted at writing as Quirk and Griever,
I, for one, am not at least...

I could still write about how I eventually ended up with the main troops,
that's part of the individual writing.
But as soon as I join the main troops it's harder to write individually...

and even then there's things to consider :P
When I arrive there, who has already joined?
I can't have a conversation with Yuri at a time she hasn't even joined yet XD
