Having recently been reminded of how awesome the one liners in duke nukem are (see the thread about best and worst videogame voice acting) I've decided to create a thread to store a huge collection of random quotes and one liners that people like. These can be from games, comics, films anything and everything, even if your best mate cam out with something awesome when he was drunk last weekend. Just write your quote and where you got it from. Put it all down here folks!

I'm a Pratchett lover. If you've never read Pratchett you haven't lived, go out and buy his library and read until you go blind and then get your sight back and reread in case you missed anything.

you sure know your quotes man, never read much of pratchett but it has embellished in my heart that everything about his quotes could shake the very thoughts of people's belief, in a good way that is :)

Here's a quote I've adopted for myself ever since I got hooked on the anime.

I really like that one, a selfish quote, but it's true cause we all are selfish bstrds, to be worthy of something special is what everybody wants :)

you're right "the spirit" is nowhere like the book... they are putting too much holywood into it. as for 'sin city' I kinda like that one, although overall it's not as good as the graphic novel. but I feel it depict some things better than the book itself.
