Are 10 years and above old games still worth playing?

Without a doubt older games are better. I feel bad for gamers of the younger generation who never had a chance to play through the games that had gripping storylines as well as fantastic gameplay. Todays generation cares only about graphics and pointless violence. They could care less about why they're doing what they do. Developers tend to focus on multiplayer and then those of us who like story driven campaigns miss out. It's truly a shame.

That... I tried to get my friends to play some of the oldies, but they're always turned off by (and I quote them) ugly 2D graphics. Come on man, graphics is never everything... Having a good almost realistic 3D graphics does not equate good games.

Some hardcore gamer would play and collect over ten years old games. You could check for the price of FFVI pc version on Amazon. People still buy it at very high price. It is not for me though.:romance:

Man, I really enjoyed a game called power stone back then. I don't know what the appeal was but it was a fun game to me and I can never forget my favorite character Wang Tang (He was like a pseudo super saiyan or something.)

I've also played all of the Final Fantasy's which I thoroughly enjoyed but I still like FF7 the most hands down.

All the Pokemon games will forever remain my favorites heh.

I liked Dark Cloud. If anyone remembers that one.

who could forget the first Mortal Kombat game? I sunk so many coins into that arcade game. Battle Toads was my all time favorite arcade game though lol.

To many games that I still love and most of them I still have and play.

Man I still have games like Killer Instinct, King of Fighters 99' and Megaman X4 on disc. I've played Baldurs Gate 1+2 countless times! I'm playing through Baldurs Gate 1 again right now. I still have fallout 1 on disc lol. There are some good new school games that are out there, but the old school games still dominate the majority so far. It's all about jaw dropping cinematic nowadays, especially with Square Enix. I still have that ancient dinosaur of a game system Atari and the game pitfall... Ahhhh, good times.

Well, there /are/ FF games, as they have been mentioned. What about the old Suikoden games? Oh, and Brigandine. I loved those games; replayed them a lot.

(BTW I always like to challenge my friends to play the old guilty gear game. I always get a kick ending a match with an instant kill. They work so hard and in the end, one move puts their efforts to naught. The look on their faces: PRICELESS) :D

(Evil Zone is priceless. Wish YUKES really did make a sequel.)
