I have been playing Guitar for about 10 years now. A little bit of everything. I used to play for a church and in a death metal/deathcore band at the same time! Now im in a band that is a little more mainstream heavy rock. It hard to describe but I will post some of our finished stuff in January. I play lead so sometimes I get a little too concerned with what im doing with the guitar, but I co-wrote all of our songs and do a little back up singing too!

EDIT: I would also love to point anyone in the right direction or answer questions for newer guitar players. I have found tons of online resources for learning music theory. And I have some great exercises for those who want to SHRED! Send me a PM with what you're looking for and I'll do my best to help!

I play the keyboard for almost 2 years now. I had a teacher until he had to quit because of back problems, from that time on, I 'studied' for myself. I'd say I'm ok now, but probably lack a lot of basic skills from never being taught much by a teacher.
