Sorry Tom, but this one again might be too much to handle. This lovely lady is also from a side-scrolling shooter that spawned a lot of figurines. In fact people know more about the figurines than they do about the game itself.

(Just a side note in this picture she isn't naked or anything like that, just Alot of cleavage. I don't want the picture to imply anything hentai-ish.)

To be exact the kind of shooter she is from is not the one where you run around shooting stuff, she's from the kind of shooter where you control a ship and you move all over the screen while the screen scrolls upward.

However in this game you don't control a ship, but you control a girl who uses magic but it plays the same way.

Well here's another clue to help you guys along then. The game she is from is not part of any of the big name gaming companies like Namco, Konami, Atlus or etc. Despite the fact that the series is a doujin type, the characters are well known in Japan and almost have a cult following. And when I mean doujin, I don't mean doujin as a pornographic parody but as an independent project.

The character is a take on the ferryman of the river styx.

I admit once again this character is very very hard.

The game that she is from, came out for the PS2 in 2001 and is an rpg.

@Tom- this series is pretty cool and fun. However I do have to warn you though, since the characters are all female it has a loli feel to it. But if you don't mind that then by all means try it out. The latest of this shooter isn't really available for download yet but the other games are floating around somewhere.

@Mark- yea this series is quite large yet not many people outside of Japan know anything about it. There's even a small mini anime series made featuring the characters. Out of the 14 games there's two of them that are fighters, which made it even popular.

Well I wouldn't say that, I mean there is a character of this series that has a name meaning comet...I think. I'm not sure who, but there is one.

I was thinking of putting up an easy picture, but my choices are either really easy or really hard so I went the latter.

Alright, I usually don't put up American game characters but considering that I need to ease up I've decided to put this character up.

Tom you should definitely get this one right away, I mean we've been talking about it for awhile.

Kamikazee is on the right track, but not quite. She's a Ghost who was in love with another main character from Star Craft. No more clues because it's way too obvious now...

And the winner is Tom! Congrats! You were a little off though, her actual name is Sarah Kerrigan. But I'll give it to you since it's really close.

Probably the reason why you've never seen this picture was that it is the Star Craft 2 depiction of Kerrigan before she turned into the Zerg queen. This was like her depiction in the one mission where you had to destroy the protoss base and not harm the zerg bases that were practically right next to you. And then at the end of the mission after you destroy the protoss the zerg swarm your base and there is like this dialogue where Kerrigan gets left behind.

edit: well Kamikazee apparently got the right answer before I posted this, so I don't know who to give it to.

Sorry about that, it's not really much of a spoiler if you start with Star Craft 2 instead of the first one. All that happens is that you fight her in the second part and you can piece what happens in between. I don't know how Star Craft 2 ends because I can't play it.
