I'm only slightly less a fan of Neil Diamond. I know Fogelburg, but I haven't listened to much of him. Also, do you like James Taylor? The reason I picked up guitar is because of John Denver, too. But since I like three rather different instruments, the other two being piano (my main focus currently) and violin, I haven't spent the time I should have on the guitar.
Even though Christian poetry really isn't my thing, I greatly enjoyed the poem in the link. I'm not much of a Christian music fan either, but I didn't like modern rock until I chatted with Dolores O'Riordan on a forum we are both members of. So I'd be interested in looking at/listening to your cd.
The age question is funny; because I don't generally share my age on forums. So when they look at my interests, a lot of people assume I am older than I am. If you want to know how old I am, you can look me up on MySpace or Facebook(same name), but I try to keep personal information on forums to a minimum.
