Why is this site called FTP-Anime? I had read that some people were sharing anime via FTP and so i googled it and ran accross this wonderful place... but i havent seen anything relating to FTPs and whatnot...

Does FTP stand for more then file transfer protocol?

This site used to be a FTP network with files but it changed long ago to direct downloads :D

You know, this isn't exactly the most welcoming way to talk to someone I've ever seen. I don't recall there being anything on the rules about having to post an introduction before asking a question.

In this day and age, when identity theft and real weirdos stalk the net, consider that some people don't necessarily want to post personal details about themselves, especially before they get to know what a community is like.

Well I definately didnt mean any disrespect by the lack of intro and/or the question. Honestly, my experiance with forums is lacking; and the time i have spent in them i figured the intro spot wouldnt really have been read by anyone. My mistake. I'll put one in... thanks for the answer btw...
