which is better COD4 or MGS4? i want to know which one i should buy. what is ur opinion on these games?

I've played CoD and it is a good game but idea is used as mentioned by SZ. I can't wait to get MGS4 into my hands. Metarl Gears are one of my favorite series :silly: If I only had money to buy it.........

but after playing both i would go with cod4 i love the multiplayer

yes your right SZ we are all sick of WWII game's. i want a civil war game were you just stand in a line and get shot then die from some illness.

but some more advice to frustrate you. if your going to play online andalso want a real solid single player get cod
if you want a real challenging single player get mgs (try to beat it with out killing someone)good luck with your choice

Its difficult to compare the two games as they are in a different genre, both have great graphics and story lines, and both are very popular. I havent played MGS 4 but I know its good. I know for a fact that COD4 is great. Awesome multiplayer coupled with great features make it a blast. However, I think in the long run I would buy MGS4 over COD4 because of the storyline and cool third person action and features. All in all, COD4 = great multiplayer and MGS4 = great singleplayer. Its all in which you like over the other.

That might be, but I doubt too many people want to go back to world war 2. We have had enough of that. Besides, Treyarch has never had a good reputation among the COD fanbase...

No i didnt mean the M4. The M16 is still in wide circulation, and not just with the US Armed Forces. Its just that the Army is starting to transition to the M4 from the M16, but the Marines are still using the M16A4 as the standard issue. Regarding H&K, none of the company's assault rifles and carbines (excluding sub-machine guns) are being used as general issue aside from the Delta Force, who use the HK416. The US Military for the most part still uses Colt weapons and will use Colt weapons for a long time to come, to my own dismay. I would much rather use something else, like the 416. The US military simply doesnt give a shit about the quality of small arms and focuses rather on the quality of vehicles, which is a tragic flaw since the most numerous and the most widely used branches of our military dont have the best equipment they could, while the least used branches like the Air Force and Navy get all the good stuff. Its a bunch of bullshit.

Well i have not even tried MGS4 at all but i do have COD4 and i think its pretty good game maybe short of my opinion but a good game to have for LAN games.
