Is there a manga you would like to see turned into an anime?

I was just thinking that there are a lot of great manga series out there that would make great anime series as well and I was also curious about other people's thoughts on this subject. If I had to choose one it would probably be Omamori Himari. If you like catgirls, ecchi, harem, and supernatural romance with a good dose of demon butt-kicking action I can't recommend it enough.

On my personal opinion, I would like to see cross over manga to be turned into anime ... as, I would really like to know how they would make it more interesting..... as the story was quite ok though....:hanabi:jumping from the free shoot line to slam dunk-really want to see how ogata did it ....

Hana Kimi has been made as a Live-Action series. (J-drama) But not yet an anime. I don't know how well it would be even if it becomes one, since it's a long series. And animated series usually end short.

I can think of a few: Akuma Jiten, Tennen Pearl Pink, Iono-sama Fanatics (technically, anything by Fujieda Miyabi--His work just crys out to be turned into OVAs), Blood Alone and Dance in the Vampire Bund round out the top 5.

While I was looking at my reading list to make some choices, I realized that there were many that I would dread to see what they would do to them to turn them into an Anime. This leads to a different question; what Manga would you hate to see turned into an Anime?

I'd actually love to hear "Tena on a S-String", assuming they could get a good music director. The manga itself is a pretty straight forward tsundare magical girlfriend series, but the idea of soul-scores could be very interesting if handled correctly--like "Polyphonica" taken up a musical notch.

Cleaning up my manga shelves, I dug out an older series that would be perfect for translation to anime: "Tetragrammaton Labyrinth". All the pieces are there--action, comedy, lots of supernatural effects that are just crying out for good anime treatment and several solid, multidimensional characters set in a plot that always has just one more twist. (The light suggestion of shoujo ai, doesn't hurt either ;-)

It seems I wasn't the only one who thought Omamori Himari would make a good anime because shortly after I posted this they did make it into an anime...and now I regret ever wishing for it. The anime was a big disappointment to me and I would like to ask any one who saw it to please not judge this series by the anime but read the manga instead.

wow, what i though some time before! xD Mx0 and Pretty Face. they still didn't make it into anime.

some thought about it. the manga that turned into anime seems to be mostly the popular one(or the one with all those echiness, you know what i mean ;) ). it seems the anime producer just want to make it because of potential to gain money instead of giving us entertainment.

and maybe some fan service. which most people would love to buy. lol

I don't really read much managa but this one Hana kimi has a good stoyline. I just read the first volum and I think it'll be pretty good if it was anime.
