RAWR RAWR RAWR. konohamaru is still in emo mode for remembering his promise making the manga all tender and squishi.. as if that would made me cry. hmph. apparently it is a small shinobi world as well, as tsunade knows pain.. AND I AM DYING TO SEE HER KICK THE LIFE OUT OF HIM. TSUNADE FTW!!!! :boxing:if she dies saving the village too, im torching everything in sight...
naruto is still in training mode... jeez.. i mean, the manga's name is naruto.. y dont they just name it, 'the burning of konoha'..good thing is that for a change we see some people with skills.. gai sensei and co. GO LEE!!!! GO NEJI.. !! (cant say the same for tenten.. i find her far too lame).. im gonna have a fit when gai realises that kakashi is dead... sniff ..after all this damage and trouble pain has caused, his secret of 'how' he works isnt so amazing. ... and ofcourse, the weekly cliffhanger.. gawd.. Anyway, actually I got the idea that he isn't dead yet from this chapter. The fact that Tsunade didn't say anything, but told him to hurry, suggests that he's not dead yet, but could die any second now and she sees little hope for him.
Yes, the story did progress which was good. Unfortunately at the same time, not much happened on any side.
We did see some people with skills and the different clans though.
Finally we get to see Gai and Lee kick some ass (don't like Neji, he's too arrogant).
I think it's obvious that Pain knows Tsunade, since he was one of Jiraiya's students afterall, but it somehow seems he's got a grudge against them...Though I wouldn't know why.
I wonder if he was the actual reason that Orochimaru left Akatsuki, fearing for his life.
