Ah yes, perception is key to reality. The problem is, some people lack a good quality of one.

Its tough to tell sometimes. There are some great animes out there that I have always wanted to be a part of, and sometimes it does shake me up a little bit and it does sometimes raise my standards of the world, which might be unfair to the people living in it. Like paradox said...it would be fun to be part of Spike's crew in Cowboy Bebop and hunt people down with them. My one desire was always to be able to live the Gundam world and put Kira Yamato's skills as a pilot to shame! :D

Thats one aspect, and one of the more important ones I might say. One of the questions basically asks how do real women compare to anime women? Are your standards suddenly raised astronomically for real women because you see anime boobs that can knock down a house? Which sandwich would you rather have? All that type of stuff...it really does start to question whether you believe there is any hope for real women after what you see in hentai and certain anime, heh. Think critically. :)

Lets cut down on the subliminal critique and focus on the question at hand. If you would rather do an anime chick then a real one, thats your thing and its probably because of the question at hand. However, chicks arent the only thing Im asking about. Mix it up a bit. This is a serious question. Thanks.

Anime sure affected me otherwise why I'm watching it.

You can always see others views on life. There are hidden messages but i can't be sure whether it was done intentionaly or not.

Lets take GSD as an example. War is the main plot there but look at their solution. Did they end the war? not really. Maybe they want ppl who watch it to think of it. If all countries tried to follow Orb's ideals where they accept both coordinator and ppl in earth then they might end the war. It might sound impossible but its better than saying conflicts exist and therefor we need weapons to get ready for any fight.

Anyway animes like these make me think too much on it.
Getting too much into animes might have negative sides....there are some ppl who really act as if they're in animes. Creepy..

Its one of my fav anime.

It might not be as great as GS (gundam Seed) but I like it. Asuran is kakowi ..uh I mean the story is really wonderful >.>;

In a more general matter, anime causes my mind a lot of overtime on 200%
Anime world can't exsist, so you can never become the nobel warrior who only cares about others...

It affects my perception of japanese ppl, for instance being extremely weak to common cold, getting nosebleeds out of nowhere, their fetish for giant...mmm...eyes and their dream of gigantic eyes (its not a repetition).
