out of all the games u played what is ur top 3 favorite games?

thats a lie.. my friend has a PS3 and some games of his PS2 dontwork in the PS3...

something there in the internet says that is a BlueRay compatibily problems or something like that... since many ppl have the same problem... don't remember the games name... but it not even recognize the DVDis in...
other says is the bios prob. cause other games just don't load ok and some menu probles or video problems... but since i don't have a PS2 or PS3 i haven't saw if it's 100% true .... !!!!

as i have seen like 4 times this happends when your PS2 starts to die.... mainly cause my friends put the chip for rip games and after it start to have problems whit loading the games then a lot of other probs starts and the >-< it died.... hope yours don't die

they are called adventure games and if you're interested in trying them - here's where to get them:

King's Quest I:Quest For The Crown
King's Quest II: Romancing The Throne
King's Quest III

These are all remakes [done by fans of the games] with MUCH improved graphics from the originals - but these are STILL retro graphics! the classic-ness of these games makes them cry out to be played by a new generation. i hope you [and others?] try them and enjoy them, cloud.

while i thot mish's "You lie!" statement was a bit harsh - in a way he's right. you inadvertently didn't make a correct statement - and you DID make a correct statement!
the first versions of the PS3's that were sold played PS1, PS2 AND PS3 games - while the newser PS3's only play PS3 games and SOME PS2's!

Now the current gen ps3's(like mine) only play ps1 and ps3 games:onion21:
1st gen ps3 40gb - 0% backwards compatible
60gb - 100% backwards compatible
80gb - 80% backwards compatible(ps2 games)
2nd gen ps3: All models (60g, 80g, and 120gb) 0% backwards compatibility - DAAAAMN IIIIIIT!!!

I'm actually suprised of all the games listed so far in this thread, i dont think i saw "Romance of the Three Kingdoms." I know its a silly title but that game defines the word "Strategy," into games.

My top 3:

1) Romance of the Three Kingdom 3 (i think they are on 9 now)
2) Metal gear solid series
3) Final Fantasy 8 (this game was underrated and overshadows by 7 and you know it!)

also enjoy eve online and call of duty world at war on ps3, but i figured we were talking more the sinlge player non internet genre.
