Hitagi, the main character of Hitagi Crab, is a weak-looking girl with an "incurable disease". She is in the same class as Koyomi, but he has almost never heard her speak. When she was in the first year of high school, she encountered a mysterious crab, after which she became weightless. Ever since, she has avoided contact with everyone else, threatening everyone who discovers her secret. She called herself a tsundere and always speaks in an abusive style. She is currently dating Koyomi.
Suzuka Asahina
A talented female high jumper from Yokohama that was scouted by many famous high schools because of her skill. While in Tokyo, she lives in Ayano’s dormitory, next door to Yamato. She is a serious athlete that puts a lot of pressure on herself to perform so she does not disappoint others.
Miya Asama
She is the landlady of Izumo Inn. She specializes in swordsmanship. She had a husband who previously worked as a researcher at MBI, but he died of reasons yet to be revealed. She never refuses anyone that needs shelter but prohibits fighting in her house. She trains both Musubi and Tsukiumi as their request to assist them to win the Sekirei battle. its still not clear if she has been winged or not. When she is mad she appears to have a demon behind her.
Charlotte Hazelrink
The princess of Hazelrink Principality, whom Teppei first meets and saves from a carriage incident involving thugs. She likes to tease Teppei and has a cheery nature.
Tokiko Tsumura
A 17 year old alchemy warrior that was assigned to take care of a homunculus problem in Kazuki's town. When Kazuki tried to save her from a homunculus (in actuality, she had the situation under control) she felt a sense of attachment to him and revived him with a kakugane, intending to make sure that he never gets killed again. Tokiko is very dedicated to her job, claiming that she hates all homunculi, and quit going to school in order to be more efficient. This hatred comes from the trauma she suffered as a little girl, when all the people in her school were killed or eaten by homunculi save her. As such, she is serious almost all the time, which leads to some awkward situations when with Kazuki and his friends. She is later assigned to be a student at Kazuki's school by Captain Bravo. She eventually falls in love with Kazuki and stays with him at the end of the series. Her quote when battling is "I'll rip your guts out". True to her words, the Valkyrie skirt has torn many enemies apart.
