Yo I think I can imagine how it sounds like. Though I don't watch this old blacknwhite films, I've seen parts of them here and there.
Isn't it the same music style as in bnw cartoons from back then?
As for Jazz... what you said is exactly what I think about it :)..
Also similar is my oppinion about smooth jazz....It often sounds like the bgmusic of a bad pornofilm or sth like that :D

Just listen to SKY.FM on shoutcast, they got the whole softpornomusicspectrum there. :D
When I want to hear sth. really smooth, it comes to David Darling or Ketil Bjornstad. Anything similar in style as well, of course.
As I said there're so many artists I don't know, there'll always be someone I've never heard of before,
but whose music I instantly fall in love with. :music: ^^ :v:
