i can't afford to buy the manga so i'm watching the anime

I didn't mind the extreme closeups before and the lack of plot progression, but damn. Some ass kicking is in serious demand!

It is based on the manga...like all other anime.
More happens in an anime episode than does in a manga chapter...5 bleach chapters = 1 anime episode. Which isn't true for other manga.
And I don't think the anime has become better, the first few arcs were the best, now it's going downhills if you ask me.
