Last exile is a good series not amazing or brilliant but if your after an easy flowing story line with out to much time spent on individual characters its worth watching, at the time i watched it i was in a scifi mood reading the DUNE novels and wanted something to watch which was scifi and not to taxing on the brain.
Plot summery, 2 teenage kids Lavi and Claus are left an old vanship by there dead fathers which they restore and fly, and want to try to make it through the grand stream, one thing leads to another and they end up being given a young girl called Al by a dying vanship pilot and asked to get her to the Silvana a huge flying battle ship whilst being hunted by the guild.
