Who else is getting this game? It looks like pure awesomeness! I've heard the city itself is bigger than in GTA: SA, but the map isn't :( Which is a shame,...

April 29th. GTA IV is out and i GOT IT :D

Graphics looks a bit not-sogreat at some point. AA doesnt seem to be active and the viewing distance is great, but things in the distance become ugly pretty quick.

But its detailed as hell, huge, and...and...damn, its GTA IV!!

Car damage model is great. You see evry single scratch.

Since i can't take screenshots, i sed a camera. Of course, brightness etc. sucks...but maybe it gives an idea of what to expect^^ (well, google gives prolly better pictures).

Only thing pssing me off until now is the SixAxi tutorial. It appears in our Handy Menu outside of missions as the bottom menu point. When i need the bottom menu point (or the 2nd, if sixaxis tut is there, it ain't there dring missions) i just press "up" once, so i'm at the bottom.

If i do that outside of missions i start the damn tutoral automatically and get ported to some airport. I wish i could just deactivate the stupid tut.
(The Sixaxis controles can be deactivated though)

I think the cheating is much easier than in the past since you don't have to put them in again every time :P

Also you can't really blame a game for making it harder to cheat.

Only things i don't like (only minor stuff):

Still the Sixaxis tutorial. I finaly completed it, but it still doesn't disappear. Because it's only in the Menu outside of missions, i often select it by mistake and get teleported to the airport
- Weapons. There fewer than before, some were useless anyway, some i do miss.
mp3. Why can't i listen to the music on my HDD like on the PC. On the PC you had to put the music in the special music folder, on PS3/Xbox 360 the music folder is predefined anyway, they should just use it.

But those are very minor details, it's an astonishing game that suprises me with every time. It's DAMN realistic and at the same time so hollywood-like that you could just record ingame vids and use them as movies. You don't need cutscenes anymore to have those cool moments where enemy fall down the building etc.

First of all, I don't have the money. Secondly, I don't have the money.
Besides I'm not going to buy a console just because I want to play one single game.

It'd be your own fault if you'd only use it for that single game :O

Btw SubZeor, you using PS3 or X360?

And I don't think cheating is necessary for winning the shootings. With the new aim and hide system it's pretty easy to take out many enemies without getting hit.

Well, as said a page before, screenshots are hard to come by since its a console game. Unless you use a TV/graphic card to put the stuff through your PC.

I used a cam for 2 pics the page before, but that doesnt really look nice and you have hardly any chance of actually getting something interesting...

This game is pretty boring half way through. If your good at fps then this game is like a walk in the park.

I would say rent it because you can proabaly beat it in under a 3 days.

i played all series of gta but i havent played gta 4 yet..
