Steam account got hacked

Looking for help. My steam account was hacked and stolen from me. I dont know what to do and steam seems unwilling to help. Its been 3 hours since i reported the issue.

It will take steam some time to respond but to speed things up follow the instructions @u4ria linked. They need proof that you're the real owner and most of the time they can revert the damage done.

Also make sure that your new password is a unique unused one saved in a password manager like lasspass.

I will. my sister had looked at my profile and they had deleted all my friends and replaced them with random people

How's it going, any word on your account? Steam is generally very good with their customer service. Have you opened an official ticket on their support page? You can find it here:

I know people who have tried the "chat" function of steam help, and generally that is the least responsive way of getting help.

Yeah i got my account back Friday night. Been busy havent had the time to get on and post an update. Unfortunatly, My friends list was gone, so i yall could send me a request that would be awesome!

i got civilization 3 4 and 5 lol. the rest are action and rpg type games lol

Well I'm a super big fan of civ 5. I play Venice as my favorite civ lol. Double trade routes for the win. What multiplayer games do you play other then civ?

@jldarkspider @welovehina I haven't played any civ. games yet but it seems like they are really fun. Could you explain what the really fun parts of the games are?

I got multiple accounts created over the years for various reasons (I think 4 or 5) but SIGGY is currently my main one linked with Twitch.

That's another thing that I didn't have a decent Internet Speed that my Streams would look good live :stuck_out_tongue: so I don't have many recordings and so didn't bother streaming for a long time :smiley: (not counting the multiple times where I thought I was live but had been timed out or been streaming but the record feature was off so the stream wasn't saved when I stopped the stream. And all the good / fun / embarrasing gameplay would usually fall under those times :sweat_smile:
