Hey yo people.... Do you play online games or are you more of a singleplayer? Maybe you're absolutly not in any gaming stuff... I certainly don't play online...

Thatas exactly why I never bought one as well. Everyone I know that has a 360 has had theirs get the Ring at least 3 times.
They are supposed to be phasing out the units that are more susceptible to the Red Ring of Death via over heating but I'm not giving them much hope at all.

I play both online and offline games depending on my mood, boredom level and if none of my friends are playing.

LOL. The red ring of death once showed up on my X360. I almost pissed my pants. $430 dollars down the drain. lol...but, it turned out it was because i powered the console up but did not have the A/V cables connected. What a relief. lol...however there is always a big chance it might crap out, and Microsoft's 1 year warranty extension just does not do it, because no one knows when you box might crap out because of their mistakes. Could be the same day or it could be 3 years from purchase.

Cant tell for sure, but i bought it around my birthday last year i think...so just over a year. Nothing in my opinion. Had it broken down i would have sent M$ a letter so strung up with curses and swears that they would barf. Had it broken down, i would have had to send it in for repairs. What a hassle!

A notable example of M$ stupidity was the recent case of a kid sending in a broken Xbox 360 to be repaired. On the 360 he had a hand drawing of Master Chief from Halo and many signatures of the Bungie studio developers. He told M$ to be careful not to scrub the drawings and sigs off the box, and they did it anyway. Idiots. Bungie noticed the kids complaints online and sent him a care package with a shitload of Halo stuff, including one of those replica helmets with signatures from all the Bungie staff. It was the first time they ever did that for anyone. It was nice of them, but M$ needs to be more careful.

HAHA. I could care less anymore really. The Euro Union is fining them massive amounts of money for screwing up all the time. They have had to pay over $2 billion in fines. XD Finally, justice for the little man.

I play mostly online with warcraft 3 TFT and Diablo 2

I usually stick to Starcraft(online), Counter Strike (1.6 w/my brother and Source otherwise. Both online of course. Not Condition Zero.), and Stepmania using keyboard(in between classes, offline even though there is an online component). Sometimes I'll play emulated GB/GBA/SNES/PS1 games with my 360 controller(Mainly rpg's and side scrollers like dk country or mario bros). Really the only console games that I play (actually on the console itself) are Super Smash Brothers(either 2 or 3). Definitely not first person shooters on consoles as they suck compared to PC (I/O is so much better on PC for FPS games. Let the flamewar begin...) but that's for another thread. :victory1:
