Since I have more free time now, can any one of you guys suggest an anime to watch?? its been awhile.

suggestion can be based on my some of my favorite anime.

btw Hunter X Hunter - New verison or the old one? I like the animation of the new one but the old one's settings like tone and music are much better.

Hmm. most of them I haven't seen. apart from Desert Punk.
For Action I would say
Brave10 (completed for now) Ninja
Blade (completed)
Zetman (new) Monster/human hybrids
Deadman Wonderland (complete for now) Prison and Human Hybrids
Strait Jacket (too short for my liking. Completed) Mecha
For action and Comedy
Fairy tail (ongoing) Adventure, fighting etc (for some reason I think you may know of this series???)
Samurai Champloo (completed) Samurai hiphop
Gintama (completed for now) More of a comedy. Slice of life, samurai aliens
Comedy
Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (completed for now...) Slice of life, frickin funny

Quirk

The trouble with hunter x hunter and digamon for me is that the main dude is so young.
I just can't get into stuff when the kid is only 11 or something. Even when I was a kid I hated them.
To add to mine.
Ao No Exocist - complete. Shonen, Fantasy, demon.
Hellsing Ultimate isn't too bad.

My suggestions :
Eureka Seven, or Texhnolyze, they're a lot like Evangelion, Beck, about music like Nodame Cantabile.

also suggest Elfen Lied since it's a lot psicological, like Eva.
