Your welcome, I just hope this bill does not pass, it would be the end of the one last palace of TRUE freedom in the world.
It's the only place to truly speak ones ideals, to share, make friends, and seek the opinions of others, without the worlds politics, governments, etc, getting involved, telling us what we can and cannot say.
This 79 page Bill has nothing to do with copyright, and everything to do with gaining control of the internet as a whole. Well I for one don't think it needs any more control.
It has served to further free thought and exchange of ideals, good or bad, we must accept it as a whole, not just what some people want to see or hear!
I hope you find the info helpful, my opinion is clear, my whole household, my friends, agree, this bill must be stopped.
If you want to thank me, spread this post to every forums you use, to all your friends, have your family sign even. This is about freedom and privacy, not about government or law.
Think of how the internet will be if this passes, it will be rather dull and empty, filled with adds and big business websites. all the little blogs and streaming video sites will dry up under endless pressure.
No anime, no mods for games, no private servers for long dead MMOs simply because some guy still holds the copyrights to it and does not want you to have the game if he does not make any money!
No more, youtube, yahoo, google, twitter, myspace (if anyone is using that still) No more catching up on a season of your favorite TV show on a steaming site, because it's copyrighted and they did not pay out the nose to be allowed to stream it.
No more music on youtube, hell like is said before no youtube at all!
It will hurt the economy as well, all the little sites that have ad space will dry up to! Small business will be bullied and harasses until they to shut down there sites, it will become nothing but another form of advertisement for the big companies, with little to nothing else.
In short all business no pleasure, it will be a dry and boring place for business, and not much else, some little personal blogs here and there, but they will be watching those to, because if they say the wrong thing, they to will be shut down.
I'm going on, but the point is clear, they will invade your privacy, and invade upon your freedoms just to make more money for people who already have enough damn it!
So ask yourself, Do these big companies need anymore money? If you did not like Mr.Warners attempt to control the internet, you should feel the same about this!
Remember, companies may try to rule us through these sorts of bills, they may even have a grip on the necks of government figures.
But WE are in control, and anything we let pass is our faults! We have to take charge, we have to show them we are ever watching them.
That they cannot pass such a vegue and easy to abuse bill as this, because vegue laws are ripe for abuse, laws should be clear, but limited enough that they do not step on out freedoms just to make some companies more money!
