How can i copy pictures onto a ps3 and have them go back to their original folder?

I'm getting a new ps3 and have a lot of pictures on my current ps3. I have tried copying a folder of pix i don't care about to a flash drive to use them as a test. But when I copy them back onto the ps3, they go into the July 2010 folder, not their original 2008 folder.

If you don't have a folder with your picture, the PS3 will make a new folder based on the date of the picture. You can however, edit the information just press Triangle button then there should be an information or edit option.

Also, try to make a folder on the root of your flash drive called "PICTURE" using your computer and copy/upload your pictures there.

i'm clueless with the ps3 euginio ... but can't you just change the name of the folder?
