I have started watching HunterXHunter and I was wondering if someone knows it and if so what they think of it

@Venchi: The new anime adaption is great too it has a faster pace than the previous adaption. The only drawback that it has a bit stricter censoring but it doesn't annoy me.

I have seen the entire series that was made, and i have the 62 ep from the series on DVD from viz media but the bastards won't release the OVAs..:onion21::onion01:
A new Hunter × Hunter anime adaptation was announced in July 2011. Instead of continuing the story from the OVA series, it will restart the story from the beginning of the manga..:onion224:am::shy:

This is one nice anime, just wished they had continued the anime a little furhter, make sure u read the manga 2 it's great but it also stopped and i don't know when it will continue, but watch the anime it's a good one..:boxing::angryfire::notes:

I just started watching the new anime, up to ep 35. Pretty good shounen anime.
I like the action though it can drag on a bit and Gon annoys me when he has to do everything the proper and honourable way. Like trying to get to Killua(?)'s home and letting that chick butler hit him over and over. Argggh!

I didn't know that and since Hunter x Hunter wasn't released here in Holland i am just watching it online. Only reason I know about the ova's

I know they stopped the anime rather abruptly but there are ova's including some that take place in greed island

Overall, I liked the old series better. It did drag out at some points, but some of the high points really are some of my favorite moments in a shounen series (especially the first OVA is a brilliant mind game). The new series lacks the attention to detail there. Although finally, after a year and a half, we're about to move into the material that hasn't been animated yet...
