I am what one would call, "an older anime fan."
Started watching anime as a kid, long ago...stopped watching up until I'd say, maybe, seven years ago? Well, it started with Inuyasha and Midori no Hibi and Fruits Basket...I have been on a roll ever since.
I am a native born Californian and love it here.
I speak two languages. English and Spanish, fluently.
I have been working in the Healthcare field many years now.
I have a big family...and some good friends.
I tend to be on my own a lot as I am a loner by nature, but I can be very sociable too.
As far as what my favorite genres are...all depends on my mood really...if it sparks an interest and I take a look-see...then, yep, we're in.
If after watching the first 1/2 of an episode (sometimes not even that) and I am rolling my eyes or feeling bored or watching the clock, then, yep, the kiss of death for that series...recommended or not.
So, there it is...I am a newbie to this site and look forward to seeing what it's all about.[/SIZE][/FONT]:thrilled:

you are right - there are just a few now who are posting. the rest are leechers and bots attempting to spam the site. i keep the law around here alone now ... other moderaters rarely come on - much less contribute. so you are refreshing to me.:m-happy2:

I see...well, thanks for the atta'boy!:futon: I told an old friend of mine about this forum but he is a Mod on the other one and has been there a long time as well. Turns out he paid you guys a visit and said it was a nice forum but he will stay put...ah well. One thing I do not like about a dying forum is the lack of interaction with fellow anime fans. I was tempted to post my thoughts here on some of the animes I am currently watching but I see I may be alone in doing so. If that be the case, I will just post elsewhere...I'll still come around, regardless.

No! I am a natural Spanish speaker...(whatever that means) :bow: My mother is from Mexico and my dad was born in California...I come from the best of two worlds and speaking and understanding the culture has been an asset in my line of work. Love the music too and dancing to it, of course.:thrilled:

I love cebollas! I use them lots in cooking too and since I adore the little onion emoticons, well, heck, I decided to pay them homage as well.
All of you are so nice and so friendly and I appreciate that...count me in to hang around...I will be recommending your fine site to other friends as well.:bravo:
