So, I tought about recording some things that I play... Like the millions of youtube covers there already are.

Anyway, I don't really have a mic (there is one in my mp4 player, and the camera has one, which I don't really trust). Secondly, how about background noise... And then I play a keyboard, which means you can hear me touching keys. Now what? Should I go to someone who has a piano, try to get someone with a decent mic or should I just leave it...

i agree with marena - don't quit!!

will the keyboard plug in to the computer? alot of the newer ones plug in through a midi to usb cable. and usually there's a mic in your webcam. i would try that first.

No, I don't have a MIDI cable, but I already know I want a new keyboard for my birthday. Even though it's a long time from now... But then I'll just get a MIDI cable for that one. As the current keyboard is a bit old =D
