Nintendo 3DS Your Thoughts?

Okay so I've read up on this little guy and so far I think it's a bit of a gimmick. Although I do believe that there can be a lot of interesting possibilities done with it. I would like to know what your thought are on this...Would this be a Keeper or a Trash Heaper. lol:m-bata:

i think it's gimmicky too but the fact that it's backwards compatable is cool!!

i just saw the youtube thing on the 3d [thanx kazee] and i ended up being more impressed. personally i'll wait for the technology to improve.

I wouldn't count Kingdom Hearts as an RPG Game more Hack and Slay.
Final Fantasy does have it's moments but have you played the last ones?
I mean 13 was certainly better than 12 but isn't it going a little overboard to make the Intro to the game bout 20 hours long?^^

I just hope it wont turn out to be like how the wii is now. Had a good run with the whole family-fun console image. Sure the motion control is fun for a while, but it gets boring when it is poorly implemented in mediocre games that is flooding the system currently. This 3d feature could just turn out to be a gimmick that is only utilized properly by first party developers. -.- However, Its still going to sell because nintendo has pokemon and mario.

And Im still waiting for a good game for the Wii:astonished: I only have Legend of zelda and super smash brothers! ;_;

Now hold on a minute! Final fantasy 12 was way better!!! The amount of freedom and places you can explore more than make up for the complex plot that some people cant understand. I played 13 but I really don't enjoy the linear gameplay. It only really opens up in the end.

Hmn.... That is pretty challenging... I guess I just like the final fantasy series. Although I wouldn't mind playing Star Ocean to try it out. Ive also played other RPGs such as Dark cloud so I do have a strong RPG background lol. :m-tabako:

I wouldn't call final fantasy XII story as dull. It is more politically centered than the other iterations in the series. For that same reason it possess a much more mature and meaningful story. Combine that with pseudo-Shakespearean dialogue and you got an engaging adventure!
FFX and FFVII had the cheesy love theme that everyone admired. I appreciate the bravery of the developers to introduce a new formula into the series. However, final fantasy XIII got it all wrong. Overused cliches and linear design made it un-enjoyable for me. And if that doesn't change your mind about FFXII, just check the reviews! Most if not all critics rated this game noticeably high.

Not sure about region lock, but Im sure the price will be just right. For that type of technology I expect no more than $350 USD. Just wish I could convert my old psp games to the new flash format. Othwerwise, i have to buy everything again.;_;Its worth the switch anyway. Flash=better battery life!

Im more concerned about the psp2. After checking the specs, the 3DS wasnt interesting to me. I can just imagine ps2 games in the palm of my hand!muhahaha

After clipping Gabriel Celesta's wings and planting Fayt & Luther in the dirt and then sending Lenneth back to asgard the Ethereal Queen took time but i thought she would have been harder, i said this when i first played the game years ago and went off to fight Freya, she had me running :escape: looking for some way out.. :dark::onion13: only way out..:imd: until i came back for revenge..:onion2::punch:

This game has to be one of the all time greatest RPG ever, Look at the story a game within a game, where the characters come out of the game to fight against their creators, huge areas to explore, awesome boss fights and i don't know of any other game where u could kill u're self if u are not paying attention to what u are doin..:thrilled:
