Hi all! Not really noob. Been on the the internet since it was usenet. Heh. Guess that really ages me! My first isp was Prodigy. Remember them? Gaa. That was when Windows 3.1 was all the rage because it had the killer new networking options. GUI was new!
Anyway. About me. I did several years in the Navy, and it was discovered that I had a talent for teaching. I did four years teaching mechanical stuff in San Diego, and earned several awards for communications excellence. As a result of that I was offered my choice of duty station. Being very interested in the emerging technologies in Japan, I chose the port city of Sasabo. I ended up teaching at the American school in the shipyard there. One of the other staff there noticed that I was interested in Japanese swords, and invited me to move in with his family.
It was awesome! This guy was a past master of swords and all the other stuff that goes with it. He taught me enough so I was able to compete in the local tournements. I consistantly got my ass beat, but I had a blast. Along with the bushido stuff, I had to learn the language and culture. You are all aware, I am sure, that the Japanese language is so much a part of thier culture that to learn one, the other must be studied. When the four years was over I did not want to leave.
But leave I dd. On the ships I learned air conditioning, and that is my trade today. Living in Florida, there is never a shortage of work, so I am really much too busy for anything else. Except anime and manga. I keep in touch with my friends there, and they send me Saturday morning stuff as soon as it airs. It keeps my ear in to hear it every week.
Favorite anime? I have always had a weakness for Ranma. It was the first anime I saw and really enjoyed the interaction between the characters. It also is one of those shows that has different meanings every time I see it. As a young man, I saw the 'cute' in it. As I get older, I see the 'life lessons' it teaches. A truly great anime and manga will do that. Be one thing for a child, entirely another for an adult.
Here I ramble. I did a google search for a hentai game I want and ended up here. Hope you have it. Hope I can figure out how to download it!
