No anime really changed me as the person who I am. I'm me nothing is going to change that.
You can learn a great deal from anime's since most persons are made role models. They have their faults but the overcome those and get better and better.
While life doesn't always give you the chance to become better, we can only try to be. I love anime's for their way of putting things in different perspective. Most of the times it lets you in the mind of both parties. Showing you who is evil and who is good. While my opinion is that we can't become better or learn something from anime's (we have to learn from our own mistakes). I do think we can enjoy the world anime's can offer.
Like kimi ni todoke why the main characters are sweet innocent and nice. While people will be ripped from their innocence early in life it will give us the possibility of enjoying someone like that (oh gosh I wished I could meet someone like Sawako). While others call those people ignorant.
Another anime would be Marmalade Boy. Where the Main characters are struggling with their lives and love. They are not perfect but they seem to have a great understanding of each other (I think it's hard to find persons like this). I wished people like that would be around more often.
If I look at me I have bad points I have to work on myself. I'm stubborn, make inappropriate jokes sometimes, not always nice as I would wanted to be, etc... etc...
While I don't think anime is going to change that I do think I can change it by working on it myself.
Anime just gives me a way to look at other rest of the world differently. A world that doesn't exist.
