Megaupload doesn\'t let me save a file PLEASE help

so I go to the megaupload link it works fine and then those 45 seconds go by and I click the download button and the save box appears but when I press save the box like blinks quickly and then it disappears and I've tried it over and over with different links and it always happens it's not letting me save it does anyone know how to fix this? please help

first of all where you using your own computer?? if not. some universities and public wifi/internet blocks certain file sharing sites.

but try this (assuming your using windows 7)

control panel > network and internet > internet options
click security tab > then set all to default. then click ok.

yeah just use a download manager, hell, even Megaupload Manager for god's sake

Maybe your browsre blocks something there.... not sure but it's quite possible that a pop-up window apperas after the count down and ask you where to save...

So if you don't allow megaupload displaying pop-up for instance then you can't download... sounds reasonable to me so check your browser setting or maybe try another browser?

Besides if you register there you only need to wait 25 sec and some other things I've forgotten whatever LOL

This probably won't help, but get a download manager like Flashget or Getright. They work through a different download process. So when the link shows up, after you have installed the manger and activated it, eg. when you start up the comp, you have to open the program. rightclick and select 'download with Getright or Flashget' this might help. Also they will prevent your from losing a download midway through.

use jdownloader, it can fully decrypt megaupload captcha too.
there was a portable edition that's bundled with java, but it got deleted by the sun machine.
