I need a warning as to what anime to avoid alltogether. So I'm wondering if anyone created a haz-mat thread. I'll simply warn you all to stay away from Apo...

Well the 2nd season is still running, but the first one is completed....it has sth like 13 to 15 eps ....I'm not really sure...
I recommend you to get the DVD, cause else the f*ck is beeped out everytime they say it...and sometimes they say it really often...:haihai:

I also watched Paranoia Agent some time ago and my oppinion is, that it's a fine piece of anime..
Though I must admit, that it's really complexly structured and you have to be patient while watching to understand the content..

I don't think that this is anime you should avoid at all cost. For all i know it might be just your opinion. But looking through it, both are good animes and really worth to watch.

I downloaded it a long time ago and watched like 2 episodes, never got around to watching all of it. I remember it was kinda boring at the start but it was mainly character development so I figured it would get better. Sorry I can't give you more info. Actually, I do remember the OST was pretty good... Anyway, I ended up backing the series up on DVD, had to free up some space on my HD's you see.

Jigoku shoujo is good in some way, You should watch some of the last epsiodes. But many peoples have many tastes, so, maybe you wont like it either.

For first, I thought it is just a bunch of stories, but after seeing it for a 3rd time, I found out that it has some good plot, revealed in last episodes.

Haruhi was good. Maybe boring sometimes, but good enough to watch again (can' say that about Naruto or some other)

I think you can add Ninja scroll.
It was incredibly callous and you don't really get much out of except sexual violence. That movie simply scared the crap out of me.
Beware it's innocent DVD cover! (although now i think of it did say
R18+ on it :worried:)

As for anime to avoid at all costs, I can't really think of anything. Avoid stuff like FLCL, Paranoia Agent, Broken Saints, etc if you don't have much patience :P

I would avoid Big O it is one of the worst mecha animes ever (I would say Gundam (all of them) but that'll lead to about 20-30 threads of disagreeing with me and I don't feel like arguing so I won't) and oh god...Mouse...what were the producers thinking?!? If you watched the first two eps of it you'll probably won't watch the rest cuz it is THAT bad.

and to think the Koreans actually went so far to have the show cancelled to air but yet it'll show on mobile phones and stream sites...

I was told to watch Big O by one of my brothers friends, he said it was pretty good. I watched the first episode and for me It really didn't interest me to much, more giant robot stuff same old, but idk might be your thing.
