PS3 Game recommendations

Hey Guys, I want some PS3 games, but I don't really know what to get. I was thinking about Dragon Age, but i don't know what it is like compared to say Oblivion: Elder Scrolls 4, which I liked. So it would be cool if someone who had played both would tell me what Dragon Age is like. Because I only hear about DA's conversations and many choices, but not what the combat is like and how much there is.

Also I like the look of Dark Siders and Dark Sector, but need to know if they are good games. And what Infamous is like.
If you could give ratings and replay ratings that would be cool too.

So if you know your games and could give me any advice that would be cool.

I know one it's Red Dead Redemption UnDeAd is a really fun game since you like GTA4, just think Wild West GTA4.

Dead Space was just a great horror game placed mostly in a space-station or mining area... like a resident evil in space sometimes with 0 gravity too... I played that on the PC but I'm 100% positive there is a PS3 version since my buddy bought it while he was in England for his PS3 LOL.. there is a a successor but don't know if that's good....

I can upload a fanmovie I made so you can check it first hand from me LOL... or you go check youtube... they might have some vids there for sure.

So in that game you have many different weapons that can be upgraded with cash (credit) you find in the game many weapons have a primary and a secondary fire mode which can be used in a tactical manner if surrounded for instant.. since I know you like the blood and brutal scenario this one is for you hehe.

also very cool is that you actually don't have the usual interface that shows health and a crosshair... it's clever hidden but can be seen if you need it, health as excample is displayed as bar in the back of your char. he wears some kind of armour wich can be upgraded too... it simply don't distract the eyes from the game like it does usual, also the inventory has a nice 3d touch to it. You play in a 3rd person view your char is shifted to one side which is unusual but a nice idea... couldn't find some good screencaps at the moment...

I can't know what or if there are differenes between the PS3 and the PC version though.

Oh yeah you must be sure to get an uncensored version!!! In Germany that game didn't even make it past the adult rating area if I remember correctly.... got an English version myself.

I kinda remember a review on thst game mark. So who knows. But we also have stupid censor laws here, not as bad as you, there is no 18+ label for games, so if its deemed to violent it is unviolented (yes its a word). Stupid government people don't realise that 79.8359% of gamers in Aus are over 25, so why is there no label!!
Any way, People can use these thread to post reviews of games or warnings off some. Whatever, information is power people!

Having just played this game I can certainly recommend it to people
Red Faction: Guerilla
Awesome game in which nearly everything is destroyable, the only things that can't be broken are special beams (rare) and the earth its self, but usually everything can be exploded, hit or shot to pieces.
And even better the sequel the fifth in the series is coming out in may
Red Faction: Armageddon also set on Mars and you blow stuff up
ALso thinking about Battlefield Vietnam 1 or 2anyone palyed these yet? Not sure if 2 is out yet tho.

all my other trophies were lost when I tried to update but crappy connection convinced me never to combine my net and PS3 again.
I pretty mucj got all the trophies I can without the net hooked up, one I do though I will clock them all!

Any way what I am really looking for right now is a really good fighting game, like mortal kombat, but the new one looks to be far away and some decent racing games like the need for speeds, with heaps of cars and races on the streets and tracks.

I will get red dead redemption, when it comes out in a double with red dead redemption: Undead, as I don't want to buy two games when I am really only buying one and a mod for it.
Also I just got the Assassins Creed series and Colin MaCrae Rally 2
and am waiting for Batman: Arkham Asylum to arrive from the UK

You should totally try Two World 2. Beats Oblivion in Graphic. Got bigger world. Awesome melee fight battle system, and plenty of sub-missions.

Damn it.. i want to play Heavy Rain. But i got no PS3, only PC. I heard it will not release in PC. :nonono:

I'd recommend Uncharted 2, Fat Princess, and Heavy Rain for PS3.

If you like first person shooters, you should try out the new Call of Duty, Black Ops. Its really good for a shooter. Plus, you could play with me on PSN!
