Banner for Wolf

So I've read somewhere Wolf [Tom] likes to have a banner to use as signature... I gave it a shot... not that special but maybe you like it... made different versions smaller and bigger in .jpg and .png.

To use one image as signature you can copy paste the code line below after hitting the "insert image" icon at your user control panel.

This one is 350x200 in jpg format[spoiler][/spoiler]

This one is 245x140 in jpg format if you prefer a smaler one.

Since I know Ninja Scroll is one of your fave animes I've put the main character from that show in the banner too... hope you like... no problem if you don't ;-)

yes rendered IS the cut out one!!! when you cut out a pic like that, you have rendered it. i don't know why it's called that - but it is!

I always thought "rendered" would refer to a 3D model that has got texture and lightning and is rendered means further the program (like poser) calculates all necessary data to correctly display lightning and such things, l've also heared that takes many hours in some cases until the PC has done so depending on the details and such things... ah well maybe I'm wrong LOL

So the wolf from that point of view can't be rendered since it's an image from a real life wolf... me just nitpicking sorry bro ;-)

just wolf will do 4 me mark - that said - i know what you mean! i thot that was rendering too - but cutting out stuff from an existing picture is a different form of rendering i've learned - mostly in the anime community i think!!

In a matter of speaking... however I used a screenshot from Ninja Scroll and cut out the character only and the wolf image... I googled that one I've cut that one out too so only the wolf remained... all resized added a little shadow effect to the layer sharpen the whole thing so it doesn't look blurry and merged it...

I'm not skillfull enough to do a banner or sig from scratch, I'm able to re-arrange and manipulate images that are already there though.

Photoshop and The Gimp are the programs I used for that...
No big deal was fun doing it, I'm sure you'll get a more fancy signature sooner or later, but like I said I'm happy you like it and use it so it wasn't a waste of time ;-)

Not sure what you mean with rendered? The big one is jpg I can save it in png format but that will not change the image in any way... png can save 32bit all colour chanels + alpha (invisible) channel... while jpg saves in 24bit that can be the same quality but without the alpha (invisible) channel.

If you mean the cut out wolf I did that on the smaller wolf version only... so simply converting the big image into png won't do anything... can you clear things up what you mean with rendered please.

I can remove the colour completely for instance... would look like a ghost and fit better into the banner in a general meaning... Like he's there and not there with the wolf I somehow like the idea.

I'll post that later, we'll see if that works.
