brokenhands I just saw a TV report about S. Korea having fist-fights on the parliamentary floor. You got pics of the S.Korea capitol bldgs?
brokenhands Got you pushin that grinding wheel? Hope the guy with the whip has a gentle touch. Good luck in dem salt mines.
brokenhands Hmmm...the KFC had it's open/close signs listed in military time. Was this next to a base?
brokenhands Wow, they even have tail taggers in S. Korea and Japan. Always wondered what you tail taggers do with all those photos.
brokenhands dave55man;5962 wrotetail taggers? What are those ... Dudes who have a fetish for catching photos of women in candid surroundings wearing tight or revealing clothing. They mostly take boob shots, and ass shots. The ass shots are why I call them tail taggers.
brokenhands Yeah if I had the money, and the legal resources. I'd go to other countries dressed like a Klingon, just to see what kind of reaction I'd get. Although from what I've heard, a black man in Asia, gets pretty much the same reaction.
brokenhands Show many camera flashes, I get flashed burned retinas. Has anyone been to Osaka, and do they really have a different accent?
brokenhands Chadwick;6344 wroteDon't they have Star Trek in Asia? o.O Good question, you'd think with the amount of Asian actors in the series, it'd be big in Asia.
brokenhands dave55man;6635 wroteStar trek has it's following in Japan as well... which is kinda sad i think >.> Nani? No love for pointed ears, and green chicks?
brokenhands dave55man;6837 wroteIt's just that I look at star trek fans, and realize that's what people think of when they see computer programmers like me :P F'em (new forum rules). Programmers are never going to be seen as "normal" You volunteered to take extra math and science classes for a programming degree you're automatically seen as an oddball. Besides, you're an Otaku, and that's another programmer stereotype.
Vladimir Woah, awesome pictures. I'm so jealous right now! Why couldn't you take us with you?! :P What are mikos? And did you buy anything in Akihabara? I'm looking forward to seeing the other pics soon :D
Vladimir dave55man;4900 wroteMikos are shrine preistess. If you've ever seen Inuyasha, both the main character and Kyokyo are Miko's. As for what I bought in Akihabara, let's just say that stuff at anime cons are overpriced. I got, 6 new figurines, a Code Geas T-shirt, Manga :], Anime magazines, and some doushinji. I envy you so much right now...
Vladimir dave55man;5053 wroteI already have some of those :P I just need to post them up :( Sweet! :P When will you exams end? We wanna see more pics!
Vladimir dave55man;5282 wroteWill post more come saturday... Since I'm having my teeth pulled tomorrow I don't expect to do mutch all day. I'll also get some neat pictures of shrines and of South Korea (including the DMZ :]) So where are they? :P
Vladimir dave55man;5858 wroteLOL... Well to tell the truth most of Japan runs on military time. So that's normal for any store. It's the same here. I didn't know it was called "military time". Btw, that South Korean palace looks so cool! Where did you take that picture?
Vladimir dave55man;5962 wrotetail taggers? What are those ... As for the South Korean pics that was from the middle of Seoul (which is freaking huge). Though as for the city itself, it's identical to new york but larger and with meaner people who all stare at you. I swear I had a set of eyes follow me whereever i went. Kinda weird in a way. Someone seems to be paranoid... brokenhands;5965 wroteDudes who have a fetish for catching photos of women in candid surroundings wearing tight or revealing clothing. Winter time is the best cuz they dress most pretty. lol. Its nt easy to take photos of them. There's alot of people walking abt (higher chance they spot u...) though if they spot you, they wun say anything though. Prolly just stare. I went to hokkaido via Tokyo at new year eve, hehe, wuld have loved to take some secret photos... xD lol?

Depends which part of Asia you're in...and if you're thinking of Japan/S-Korea, then you'd probably get those reactions outside large cities filled with tourists...
Vladimir Chadwick;6344 wroteDon't they have Star Trek in Asia? o.O Hahaha, what? What's that got to do with anything? :P @ dave: are those the only pics you've taken or are there more?
