This dreaded day is fast approaching, and I wanted to send out a heartfelt salute to the victims of 9/11, those who perished and those who survived. In addition, I wanted to salute the heroes of the New York emergency services, who staked their lives on their optimism that they could save as many people as possible, if not all of them. Your sacrifices will never be forgotten, your courage never held for granted. Most people cannot understand what you experienced, but we can certainly recognize it. Thank you, God bless and stay safe.

I agree. For all of Bush's faults, how he responded to the attacks was inspirational. He stood at the site, grabbed a megaphone and simply said that we will make whoever did this pay. That is the sort of leadership I personally have come to expect, and were it not for some of his more stupid decisions, like invading Iraq, then there would be nothing in the way of me saying that Bush would have easily stacked with some of the great presidents of the 20th century.

despite his invasion of irag i DO consider him one of the greatest presidents of the 20th century. i know i'm in a small minority - but there it is.

i sat at my tv glued to the news and watched the second plane fly into tower 2. i watched as, sometime later, first one, then the other tower fell to the ground. it brings tears to my eyes still today.

I have an aunt who interned 4 a law firm at twin Tower 2. The law firm gave her great references which allowed her to finish law school. Her heart sunk once she knew what happened because it was one of the best jobs she ever had at that age, even though unpaid and they treated her like an equal there.

I can't really judge that since I don't live in the us.
I'm starting to wonder, at first I was anti-Bush, like lots of people around here.
Obama looked so promising, but well, proves again how hard it is to live up to your promises...
