Okay, what do you think of this whole gyaru thing that's been going on in Japan for some years now?

In my opinion it's the worst fashion disaster to have stricken earth. The girls look horrible! They look like weird scary puppets who have come to life just to act human...more or less...

I'm just glad the rest of the world hasn't been infected (yet).

I can't say anything, in America, we've had our fair share of weird fashion:
-flappers
-the brawless look
-the heroin look
-the leisure suit shudder

And of course, in my own family, the Jheri curl.

I know if I live long enough, in America, Middle East fashion will become mainstream.

I wouldn't mind having a turban and some of those pajama looking outfits.

I hope for nudism to catch on, but here in the US I'm seeing a lot of muffin tops,and well, I'm wishing for a more conservative fashion craze.

No, he was a "saint".

Btw, one of the morning musume members became a gyaru girl and starting making gyaru songs...made the whole gyaru thing pretty famous (more than it already was).

In Holland we have a tradition before x-mas, where a Sinterklaas (Saint Nickolas, from whom saunta claus was made) and his zwarte pieten give candy and gifts to kids.
Check the zwarte pieten and their similarities with the gyaru:

Lol :P That's only in certain parts of the ME. And I think it's probably damn comfortable in that heat...

Anyway, just be glad you won't see gyaru girls in the US :P
