Every time I hit "mark as read", I get an error message about security tokens. :(

try to clear your cookies and logging in again.

XD I tested it and got the same error

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid.

I tried Chrome, FF, and IE sooo I guess its not a browser problem.

that's not something i've run into - i just read them and then their marked read - anyone else experience this?

I don't. Maybe it's about the browser you use? I use Firefox all works... though I have to say I harldy use that feature anyway so... but it works just checked that.

You could try out another browser and see it this error message is there again?

Maybe it'a firewall setting? But I'm just guessing here not that much of an expert in this direction.
