@GM: Since he uses magical items instead of magical powers (awesome idea btw) he should reside in TLC. Maybe at some point helping them fight off the invasion will also help him in achieving his goal so he forms a temporary aliance.

There can be no denying it. Indeed the lost continent was once a part of the floating chains. To my disgust, In the midst my investigations, I've come across irrefutable evidence of this. Beneath the surface of the Lost Continent, deep under water lies a chain extending to the bottom of the ocean. If this were wide spread, faith would be shaken throughout the lands. But wait..... I wonder how many know of this.
It's decided. No one shall ever know of this. I've already killed the scholar and burned the scroll. The last remaining evidence is the heathen land itself. It must be destroyed. But how to do it so His Majesty thinks it was an unavoidable tragedy?
