for me the funniest anime ive watched is slum dunk...because of the characters and because of sakuragi....he really believe that he is the mvp of shohoku....but in the end i think he will be the best player in japan..

There have been a few that were especially funny...

I'd say that Kemeko DX was probably at the top

Some others were Maria + Holic and Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei.

Funny while watching the first time, and funny in retrospect/second watch are really different. I think Those three are the only ones I can say are the second kind of funny.

Btw,just finished watching FLCL and...I feel violated. It went all furi-kuri on my brain. Can't see why someone would find it funny. Probably the bigest mind-fuck I have ever seen.
