If you had one day in Japan, where would you go and what would you do?
Visit temples? Or maybe hang out in a Japanese anime/manga store all day long? Maybe you're attracted more by its nature or beautiful women?
Tell us about it!

Try to be realistic though. Don't say something like: "I'll visit everything in Japan." or "I'll go to place X and then teleport to place Y.".

I'd find it pretty interesting to meet with a geisha as well.
However, since I only have one day, I guess I'll be hanging out in the Akihabara district in Tokyo (an otaku centered district) all day. Going from store to store, spending all my money...

You know I've always been fascinated by Geisha. It might seem typical I know but I find them so mysterious and doll-like. I'm not quite sure where you can see them exactly, Gion in Kyoto I think. But that's where I would go just for the small hope of catching a glimpse of one going to/performing in an event.

If I had one day I would probably visit Kadena Air Base on Okinawa Island. I want to see how differently the military handles stuff in Japan. (and because im an enthusiast of military hardware...get to see the planes and stuff :) )

Hachiko was a dog. There was something long ago in Shibuya. Hachiko always accompanied his master on his way to work. He also picked him up from the station after his work finished, but one day his master died at work...
Then this dog keep came to the station every day after his death, he waited for him 10 years to return. ;_;

It's a true story, in Japan Hachiko is a mark for loyality. This happened after the WWII, I think...
However, they made a statue in Shibuya. It's often used as a meeting point there! ;)

what would i do? i would go to a jpop concert, followed by a jpunk show, followed by a jrock show followed by eating as much food as i would possibly be able to... hahaha, music booze and food, how could a day get any better!

I'd probably go to Akihabara, Tokyo Tower, buy some j-rock records and visit the graves of Musicans. Well, i'm going there for a year so i'll be able to do much more things too of course.:nihonjin:

3)Stock up on hair products; wax, hairspray.
4)Stock up on JAVs.
5)Find a hiding spot so I can spend longer than a day in Japan.

I prefer to buy clothes from night markets in Taiwan XD from what I've heard from friends who been to Japan, stuff there seem overpriced...
