Wolf don't play Killzone 2 or 3. heaps of swearing in that, mostly for no reason. Actually puts me off.

Back to good old Dark Souls.
Beat two bosses in last session. while only dying five times.

It is hardcore gaming dude.
When you die you lose all the souls you have which is money and humanity and become hollow. As a hollow you are weaker, while when you are human you have better resistance and a better chance at finding good things.
When you die or even rest at a fire to recharge all your magiks, repair you equipment and level up all the enemies respawn.
Dark souls is the second game, Demon souls is the first and is a smaller game, so a bit easier to work your way around.
Oh yes in Dark souls there is no loading screens between areas. You could run from one end of the world to the other uninterupted.
Very frustrating game but very rewarding.
I would say it is like Skyrim but with a much high difficulty(you can't change it) an awesome weapon system and heaps of weapons with customising options.
That reminds me I need to finish Skyrim.

Died heaps, then ps3 froze.
I should mention that the game dev said the game is more about leveling up yourself the player rather than the game character. I'm level 61 and have trouble against ordinary foes. But once you memorise their patterns, attacks and resistances you can beat nearly anything with simple magik and weapons.
I have rung both bells, cleared out a fair bit of the game and struggling through Sen's fortress. Sad to say I only just discovered you can sprint and jump.
Pathetic I know, but I was happy with the rolling dodge.

try playing then. The whole point of the game is to die.
Though I heard Dark Souls 2 will be more accessable for more people. so sounds like they are dropping the difficulty level.
But in the teaser trailer the hero dies at least twice. So I don't think it will be an easy game.

I think in Japan DS2 won't be PS3 exclusive, so they might have an xbox and pc release. Not sure. They changed directors but the old director is in an advising position. Something weird happened with him and the company I think.
I mean they are still ages off releasing the game. So who knows?
But yeah demon souls + Dark Souls + Dark Souls 2 would be an immense game and they would mesh pretty well. If you made the end boss of Demon Souls one of the Lord Souls for the Lord Vessel.
Anyway I totally forgot about rescuing the cleric chick, so she is probably dead by now.

Dark Souls. Nearly finished. The cleric chick ended up being alive, but was killed in the church because i forgot about the dude. Will save her properly in the next play through.
Armored Core V. Made by the same company as Dark Souls. From Software. Shows in the hard enemies.
inFamous 2. Not as good as the first game. They changed the voice actor, appearance and personality of the lead dude. Which really annoys me. I've only played a few hours, but I like the first game a lot more. I will still finished the game in evil and good modes just to complete it.
Blazblue: Calmity Trigger. Hard game for me. But I will play it every so often to get through the characters.
Need For Speed ProStreet. Please can we have a return of NFS games from the Playstation 1? I loved the Fourth NFS and the others. I don't want this half-arsed Dirt rip off that is ProStreet. The game is all right, but it basically copies Dirt except everything is on tarmac.

There I think I covered everything I am playing, about to play or planning to play for a while.

Once finished I will probably finish Dark Souls. Then start Fallout: New Vegas.

Well I keep getting distracted from Dark Souls. I have done some exploring in the crystal garden place. So I am not far from Seth I think. But I have to wait for Logan to do what he does first.

Playing Mortal Kombat [complete edition]. It only just come out in Australia, being banned until we got an R rating. I like it, though the last couple fights are stupid. Fighting Shao Kahn. I hate him.
Then I really have to finish Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Stopped playing just before last boss.
I also really want to get into Fallout: New Vegas, but I also need to finish Skyrim and Far Cry 3, both of which I have nearly finished the main quests.

Don't know about AC3 haven't ended the previous titles and most likely they will release a collectors edition with all the games from the beginning

haha it may sounds like that but the game is very very hard except, like Quirk said, its very rewarding when you kill any of the HUGE bosses or any monsters for that matter. The game is design so that even one monster can kill you.
