yeah guys, I've been really busy the last few weeks. technically, it's been a few months. But the last few weeks just exploded on me. Started with being detained by police on thanksgiving. (gotta love family-get-togethers) Yeah! But due to it I have a few court dates cause they keep changing my original dates. I think the state is messing with me. But, on top of that I am trying to keep this commission I had/have. (if the plee and statements don't stand then I may be offline for a few months...Do they have internet in jail?) Funny thing is I did nothing wrong, but it's the officers word against mine. and making a storyboard and comic of the incident as my statement and even animated the storyboard and converted it to powerpoint. But that only made the judge think I wasn't serious. Maybe it was the manga sound fonts, or the way I made the police all chibis. I was just bringing the scene out and making it presentable. You try making a fully 14 minute animated scene with soundbytes and a few effects in less the a week. Yeah, my entire incident took 14 minutes but could cost me ofer 50 grand in fines if I lose, or up to a year in jail, or both. All that just for ignoring a cop. I was on my property standing in my doorway, when he told me to go inside. I told him no and he said it was an order. I asked him what he was doing in my driveway, and he just repeated to go inside. I again said no, and told him unless he had a good reason i refuse, cause it's my porch and I can stand out there in the cold on my own porch if I wan't. Then I told him my fiance won't let me smoke in the house cause the baby. And I said I'll go in after I finish my cigerette. Then he grabbed my foot and pulled me off the porch and slammed me on the ground, and said that I am too listen to him when he gives and order. I told the guy he wasn't my supperior officer, and I am not operating a vehicle so I don't have to follow any of his orders. Then he cuffed me and kicked me in the back. next thing I know I was dragged to a police car and charged with reisting arrest and failure to obey a peace officer. The scene was actually fun to draw, but living it the first time was not. and now court sucks cause it costs just to ask your lawyer for an update or anything.
But yeah, I hope things go well, I'd miss my anime. I am not sure if they'd let me torrent or stream in jail. I've never been in one before. But, it was not exactly scary, it was actually cleaner the most dorms I've been at in college. And the odd thing was the states jail regulations are actually less strict then most campus rules these days.
